Aeration kit EKUVA EL-60

Purpose:

For aeration of water bodies in winter and summer. In winter, aeration protects the water body from freezing and fish suffocation; in summer, it improves the mineralization processes of the water body, clarifies and improves water quality.

Set includes:

1. ​SECOH EL-S-60 diaphragm air blower (24-month warranty) - 1 pc.
2. JAGER TD 63/2050 diaphragm tubular air diffuser (0.5 m length) - 1 pc.
3. Connector for attaching the hose to the diffuser - 1 pc.
4. Rubber gasket to ensure the tightness of the connector - 1 pc.
5. AISI W5 stainless steel clamps 16-27 mm. 2 pcs.
6. The set requires a hose with an internal diameter of 19 mm.  The hose is not included in the price of the set. Purchase the required hose length separately.

Installation and start-up of the aeration set:

1. First, a location for the air blower must be selected. We recommend placing the air blower as close as possible to the water body. This will help avoid greater air flow losses. The air blower can operate outdoors, but it must be protected from direct precipitation and severe frost. Install the air blower in a sealed box (metal, plastic, wooden). The box does not need to be insulated, but openings must be left for air to enter inside. If there is a gazebo, sauna house, or another structure near the water body, install the air blower there. In either case, ensure a safe and reliable electricity supply for the air blower.
2. Hose. Use a pressure hose with an internal diameter of 19 mm purchased from us or one you already have (do not use a watering hose). We recommend using a hose no longer than 30 m. Put one end of the hose onto the air blower outlet nozzle and carefully tighten it with the supplied clamp. Take the air diffuser and screw on the supplied hose connector. To ensure tightness, use the supplied rubber gasket. Put the other end of the hose onto this connector and tighten it with the clamp.
3. Immersion of the air diffuser. We recommend immersing the diffuser as deep as possible (just do not exceed the maximum permitted immersion depth). The higher the water column above the diffuser, the better the air bubbles and the oxygen in them dissolve in the water, and mixing of the various water layers occurs. The JAGER air diffuser is lighter than water. To submerge it, tie synthetic ropes to both ends of the diffuser and weights to the ends of the ropes (recommended weight 0.5 -1 kg). Other methods of submerging the diffuser can also be found, but this one is the simplest and works perfectly. The recommended rope length between the weights and the diffuser is 20-30 cm. Submerge the prepared diffuser with weights into the selected place in your water body. The weights will lie on the bottom of the water body, and the diffuser will rise as much as the left rope length allows. In this way, the diffuser will not stir up bottom sediment during operation and will not make your water body cloudy.
4. Plug the air blower into the electrical network and the aeration system will begin its operation. If there is no need for 24-hour aeration, purchase a timer and set the operating mode you need. The aeration system is designed to operate in both continuous and intermittent mode. Enjoy using it.
