Aeration Kit EKUVA EL-80

Purpose:

For aeration of water bodies in winter and summer. In winter, aeration protects the water body from freezing and fish suffocation; in summer, it improves the mineralization processes of the water body, clarifies and improves water quality.

Installation and start-up of the aeration set:

1. First, you need to choose a location for the air blower. We recommend placing the air blower as close to the water body as possible. This will help avoid greater air flow losses. The air blower can operate outdoors, but it must be protected from direct precipitation and severe frost. Install the air blower in a sealed box (metal, plastic, or wooden). The box does not need insulation, but openings must be left for air to enter inside. If there is a gazebo, sauna house, or other structure near the water body, install the air blower there. In either case, ensure safe and reliable power supply to the air blower.
2. Hose. Use a pressure hose with a 19 mm inner diameter purchased from us or one you already have (do not use a watering hose). We recommend using a hose no longer than 30 m. Put one end of the hose onto the air blower outlet nozzle and carefully tighten it with the supplied clamp. Take the air diffuser and screw on the supplied hose connector. To ensure tightness, use the supplied rubber gasket. Put the other end of the hose onto this connector and tighten it with the clamp.
3. Submerging the air diffuser. We recommend submerging the diffuser as deep as possible (just do not exceed the maximum permissible submersion depth). The higher the water column above the diffuser, the better the air bubbles and the oxygen in them dissolve in the water, and the more mixing occurs between the various water layers. The JAGER air diffuser is lighter than water. To submerge it, tie synthetic ropes to both ends of the diffuser and weights to the rope ends (recommended weight 0.5 -1 kg). Other diffuser submersion methods can also be found, but this one is the simplest and works perfectly. The recommended rope length between the weights and the diffuser is 20-30 cm. Submerge the prepared diffuser with weights into your chosen place in the water body. The weights will lie on the bottom of the water body, and the diffuser will rise as much as the remaining rope length allows. In this way, the diffuser will not disturb bottom sediments during operation and will not make your water body turbid.
4. Connect the air blower to the power grid and the aeration system will start operating. If there is no need to aerate 24 hours a day, purchase a timer and set the operating mode you need. The aeration system is designed to operate in both continuous and intermittent mode. Enjoy using it.
