Installation and commissioning of the aeration kit:

1. First, you need to choose a location for the blower. We recommend placing the blower as close to the water body as possible. This will avoid major air flow losses. The blower can work outdoors, but it must be protected from direct precipitation and severe frost. Install the blower in a sealed box (metal, plastic, wooden). The box does not need to be insulated, but it is necessary to leave openings for air to enter it. If there is a gazebo, sauna or other structure near the water body, install the blower in them. In both cases, ensure a safe and reliable power supply for the blower.
2. Hose. Use a 10 mm inner diameter PVC or rubber pressure hose purchased from us or your own (the hose must have a cord. Do not use a very soft, easily kinked hose). We recommend using a hose no longer than 25 m long. Put one end of the hose on the blower outlet nozzle and tighten it carefully with the included clamp. Put the other end of the hose on the check valve and also tighten it well with the clamp. The check valve is already attached to the diffuser in the kit. If you will also use the aeration kit during the warm season, you can remove the check valve from the system. In this case, connect the hose directly to the air diffuser. This will avoid additional pressure losses. The system is ready.
3. Submerging the air diffuser. We recommend submerging the diffuser as deep as possible (just do not exceed the maximum allowable immersion depth). The higher the water column above the diffuser, the better the air bubbles and the oxygen they contain dissolve in the water, and the different layers of water mix. The ring air diffuser is lighter than water. To submerge it, tie a synthetic rope to the hose connection to the diffuser, and a weight to its other end (recommended weight 0.5 - 1 kg). Submerge the prepared diffuser with the weight into the place of your chosen body of water. The weight will lie on the bottom of the body of water, and the diffuser will rise as much as the remaining length of the rope allows. The minimum length of the rope between the weight and the diffuser is recommended to be 10-15 cm. In this way, the diffuser will not cause sediment on the bottom and will not muddy your body of water. By adjusting the length of the rope between the weight and the air diffuser, you can adjust the immersion depth of the diffuser. There are other ways to submerge a diffuser, but this is the simplest and works great.
4. Plug the blower into the power supply and the aeration system will start its work. If there is no need to aerate around the clock - purchase a timer and set the operating mode you need. The aeration system is designed to work in both constant and intermittent modes. Enjoy using it.
